The Journey

Our journey began when, in 1987, after living in Alaska for 17 years, Ruth (then Buckareff) and her family moved to the Los Angeles area. Ruth and her mother Esther would both spend significant time living in Los Angeles. It was there that the L.A. fashion culture influenced their view of style.

While living there, Esther refined her expertise on working with a variety of cultures through projects with World Relief and World Vision. Her hobby, on the weekends, included shopping the Garment District.

Ruth worked in the retail fashion industry and gained experience in importing and exporting. Later, she would develop her communication skills as an Admissions rep in the California College System. Shopping the Garment District was a regular hobby for Ruth.

In 2002, Ruth finally moved back to Alaska with her hubby and 4 kids. Soon after, a dream began to flower, a dream of a smooth, classy boutique in downtown Palmer. Taking inspiration from her mom's sense of entrepreneurship (Esther owned two businesses before this), her L.A. acquired fashion sense, and the desperate need for style in the Valley, she decided to move forward.

The Concept

The idea was (and still is) simple. Our mission is to provide an eclectic mix of style. Trendy fashion mixed with great basics for a variety of people.

The Store

In August of 2007, Infusion Boutique opened its doors in the historic downtown Palmer district. Since then, we have assisted thousands of customers in all their fashion needs, put on numerous fashion shows and charity events, and have been featured on LIFETIME, KTUU, FOX 4, Frontiersman and in the Anchorage Daily News. In 2010, we made the move from Palmer to our current location in Wasilla. We are now located at the City Center in Wasilla at 617 S.KNIK-GOOSE BAY RD. SUITE H-WASILLA, ALASKA!
